Question: We need your suggestion , Please review the attachments. give us the what are the next steps. Can we do Ayurveda treatment in parallel with Chemotherapy.

Your mother is suffering from adenocarcinoma stomach.
She will need chemotherapy after surgery called adjuvant chemotherapy to kill the remaining cancer cells that may have remained behind even after surgery.
Ayurveda treatment is not scientifically proven.
She will need atleast 6 months of chemotherapy post surgery at 21 days interval.

I have couple of questions
- Based on the reports , what is the severity level.
- Do we need any scans like CT or Pet CT on post surgery to find the cancer cells.
- what is the survival expectancy.
We would like to know the beyond generic procedure suggested by you, Is there any other suggestions that will improve the patient health condition further.

PET CT is not needed at this moment.
Patient post completion of chemotherapy has 63% chance of survival for more than 5 years.
She needs to take protein rich food to improve her general condition.

My mother started Chimo 1st cycle started. She has given OXITAN 100MG on 16th sept 2014, Daily she is taking XELODA 500MG tablets 3-2.
She is taking normal diet., She is becoming weak. She is not having proper hunger, She is not getting proper sleep. she is having loose motion around daily 5 times,
Can you please suggest me,
- How she can take the proper food and what type food., Getting proper sleep.
- What will be next steps after the Chemo of 8 cycles..

Hi
As she is not having hunger I will advise her to take appetite stimulant syrup elixir Neogadine 30 ml half an hour before food twice daily.
For getting proper sleep she can take tablet alprazolam 0.5 mg at night with doctor advice.
For loose motion she can take probiotics or anti motility medication after discussing with your doctor.
She needs to drink plenty of water and boiled vegetables.
After completion of 8 cycles she will have to do a CT scan of whole abdomen.
If it is found to be normal then she has to do follow up after 3 months with a fresh CT scan abdomen.
