Brief Answer:
Mebeverine or loperamide can be discussed as alternative with your GP

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Librax is a very good combination and as it was working very good in your case so best option would be to continue the same but if due to some legal or financial formalities you are asked for alternatives, other options can be would be mebeverine or loperamide to cover gastric symptoms and an anxiolytic like amytryptamlline at night can be used.

You can have a gastroentrologist review again to discuss for any need to repeat PCR for hep C to ensure that virus is still dormant or negative on PCR and discuss for other options like rifixamin and probiotics course for the irritable bowel.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
