Suggest Alternative Medication To Replace Doxazosin Mesylate Due To Side Effects
Question: Hi Dr. Rynne,
I have been on doxazosin mesylate for almost two years. I was given the drug by my Internist to control sudden urinary discharges. I have been taking one 4mg tablet before bedtime. In reviewing the side effects
of the drug I discovered that I have almost all those listed. I take many other drugs and OTC supplements.
I get a ten vial infusion of Remicade every six weeks, and I inject 10ml of Methotrexate every week.
Is there another drug available with fewer side effects. I have been having quite a few accidents lately, which are very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Thank you for you help with this matter. XXXXXXX
