Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

While antipsychotics are not easily convertible in terms of dosage, because they all have slightly different mechanisms of action, amisulpride 100mg is roughly equivalent to sertindole 4mg.

Dear Dr. Sheppe,
I am glad to have again news from you, thank you very much. I would like to know which are the side effects of paliperidone, because Serlect didn't worked, my new psychiatrist gave me Sertindole (16 mg) with Lamictal and i had until few days rapid heartbeat (more than 100 diastolic), so i had to go back to Serlect 8 mg for the while (my psychiatrist is on holidays).
Thanks again, XXXXXXX
I forgot, please, i would like to know also if cyp2d6 and cyp2c19 are involved in the metabolism of paliperidone,
Thanks beforehand

Detailed Answer:
Paliperidone side effects may include EPS, drowsiness, weight gain, increased cholesterol, and akathisia.

These is small to minimal involvement of CYP2D6, and zero involvement of CYP2C19, in the metabolism of paliperidone.
