Question: I HAD ENDOMETRIAL CANCER 3 YRS AGO AND HAD A FULL HYSTERECTOMY...IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO AS FAR AS ANY FOLLOW UPS...ALSO SINCE I HAD A FULL HYSTERECTOMY DOES THAT MEAN THAT CANCER MOST LIKELY OR CANNOT RETURN...OR EVEN SPREAD TO ANOTHER PART OF BODY??

Brief Answer:
Hysterectomy

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking

The fact that you had hysterectomy and you are under follow up mine that your disease it’s under control and that’s is right choice in your case

In cancer patients, one purpose of follow-up care is checking to see if the cancer has come back or has spread to other parts of the body due to the fact of total hysterectomy in your case

Best regards

I AM SORRY BUT U MISUNDERSTOOD MY QUESTION...I STATED I WAS NOT GIVEN ANY MEDICATION AFTER THE FULLY HYSTERECTOMY AND THAT I WAS NOT ASKED TO FOLLOW UP IN ANY MANNER DUE TO FULL HYSTERECTOMY??? I AM ASKING SHOULD THERE BE FOLLOW UP AND WHAT TYPE, WITH WHOM, AND CAN THE CANCER RETURN IN THE AREA EVEN IF I HAD A FULL HYSTERECTOMY AND, ALSO, CAN CANCER HAVE SPREAD TO DIFFERENT AREAS EVEN THOUGH A FULL HYSTERECTOMY WAS PERFORMED...SUCH AS LIVER, KIDNEYS, OTHER ORGANS?? PLEASE UNDERSTAND I HAVE NEVER HAD A FOLLOW UP AND IT WAS NEVER SUGGESTED TO DO SO...I WAS ONLY TOLD TO GET REGULAR MAMMOGRAMS???

I RECENTLY HAD ULTRASOUNDS (2) and CT SCAN WITH AND WITHOUT CONTRACT ON ABDOMEN AND PELVIS...RESULTS WERE NOT FAVORABLE..A MASS OR TUMOR WAS FOUND ON LIVER AND A CYST ON RIGHT KIDNEY???

DID YOU RECEIVE MY TWO (2) MESSAGES I SENT AN HOUR AGO?

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT IS 1 AM AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS REGARDING MY SERIOUS CONCERNS.. SEVERAL YEARS AGO I CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTION DUE TO THE SAME AND AM ABOUT TO DO THE SAME NOW...HOW CAN THIS SERVICE ADVERTISE A 24/7 RESPONSE AND IT IS NOT TRUE...THE DR. DID NOT ANSWER MY QUESTION CORRECTLY...DIDN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND QUESTION..ANSWERED INCORRECTLY...AND HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING SINCE MY REPLY AS TO WRONG ANSWER...IF I DO NOT HAVE AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTIONS, I WILL STRONGLY REQUEST A CANCELLATION IMMEDIATELY..

YES...I DO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE VERY BUSY...BUT I AM VERY CONCERNED DUE TO MY RECENT RESULTS FROM CT SCAN OF ABDOMEN AND PELVIS..THAT IS WHY I WAS WONDERING EVEN THO I HAD A FULL HYSTERECTOMY IF CANCER COULD SPREAD TO OTHER AREAS?? I WAS NEVER EVER TOLD TO HAVE FOLLOW UPS WITH A GYNECOLOGIST OR ANY DOCTOR SINCE HAVING ENDOMETRIAL CANCER...NOW I KNOW I HAVE TO SEE A GYNECOLOGIST AND IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS..I AM ANGRY THE ONCOLOGIST NEVER TOLD ME THAT BUT THANKFUL YOU HAVE...THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME!!

Brief Answer:
Endometrial cancer

Detailed Answer:
Dear madam I am sorry for the late response but due to the fact that I’am a doctor I am leveling in Europe too

Most recurrences will occur within the first 3 years after treatment. Patients should undergo follow-up every 3–4 months with physical and gynecological examination for the first 2 years, and then with a 6 month interval until 5 years.

Kindly hope you accept my apology

Regards
