I had a look at the pictures you sent.
yes a Reduction Rhinoplasty is what you would require.
The reduction of the bridge of the nose will be good and you will have a more prominent bridge of the nose and it will be come thinner too. We do have to wok on the tip too to make it slimmer by removing some cartilage and thinning out the skin. You might require a reduction of the ala or the nostrils as well, to make the nose look slimmer. That will have to be decided after examining you in person.
The procedure is well tolerated and when done by well trained plastic surgeons would give you good results. The only area of concern might be the amount of tip sharpness that you might achieve, because you have thick skin on the tip of the nose and hence in spite of the thinning, you might not get a very sharp tip.
No major risks are associated with the procedure apart from the usual, infections, bleeding and rarely some residual deformities which might need some minor revision after 6 months.
You will have a plaster on your nose for 8-10 days because we need to fracture your nasal bones to move them in. Most of the swelling will come down in 10-15 days. Complete healing takes about 3-4 months.
