Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, short and specific.
To recapitulate: Male/27 - Gynecomastia on left chest - want to get removed - wants to know the types of surgery and cost - no information on visit to a Doctor or medication....

Type of surgery will depend upon the size of gynecomastia, expertise of operating Surgeon, facilities, and your choice.
- Standard open incision and removal of the breast tissue and excessive fat if present and since you have said about left side only I wonder whether this is Gynecomastia or what as the condition is bilateral means both sides. A General Surgeon or a Plastic Surgeon can do this.

- Minimal invasive: with help of Endoscopic instruments, needs small incisions. Suctioning and removal of excessive tissues. Needs expertise, availability of instruments and usually available with Plastic Surgeon.

Costs as said above will depend upon who is operating, whether you opt for an open approach or minimal access one, type of hospital like a small set up or a large corporate and so on.
It also depends upon confirmation of the diagnosis by clinical evaluation, examination, Ultrasound and FNAC: Whether collection of excessive fat, lipoma or any other tumor or gynecomastia.

Please give some details pertaining to the points mentioned above, the confirmation of diagnosis and your choice.

Thank you doctor for detailed answer. I got myself checked from one of the surgeons(not detailed checkup) and he told me it is gynecomastia. It's on left side only. Two types of surgery you've mentioned. Will you be able to provide me a round figure of both? Also how much time will it take as I'll be traveling to my hometown and I've 1 week only. Is it sufficient to get the surgery done in that period?

Brief Answer:
One week is sufficient.

Detailed Answer:
As said earlier type and cost of surgery depend upon many factors. I hope you must have discussed with the Surgeon.
Get investigated, operated and 1 week is far more sufficient for your surgery and recovery.
In which city are you staying, which city you will be getting Surgery and which is hometown?
