Stomach cancer has hereditary association, but...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I apologies for the inconvenience and the late reply. The doctor who answered your previous query had to leave due to unavoidable circumstances and therefore I have been assigned to address your questions further.

At the outset, I concur to the previous doctors remarks. You should try the current acid lowering drugs and antiemetics for 2-3 weeks. Should the problem persist despite 3 weeks of therapy, then perhaps we can investigate further.

As far as stomach cancer question is concerned, yes genetic and hereditary factors is associated with stomach cancer. However when some one has celebrated 75 and more birthdays, I wouldn't worried about stomach cancers where nausea is the lone symptom. I hope you don't smoke.

Hope I answered your question. I am available to answer other questions if any.

Wish you speedy recovery...

God Bless!!
