I have read your problem .
It would not be appropriate to diagnose any condition like diverticulitis without investigations.
If i was your treating physician i would first like to ask for certain investigations like:
1. An ultrasound Abdomen and Pelvis to visualise the various organs.
2. Complete blood count
3. Urine analysis and microscopy
Yes the investigations will cost. Hence if you have insurance it would help.
However, these are basic tests and not very costly.
Endone (oxycodone) is a narcotic pain killer, hence kindly try other over the counter pain killers. Amoxycillin is an antibiotic.However, these are prescription drugs and require to be prescribed by a certified physician.
Till the you can try Tablet omeprazole 20mg half an hour before breakfast daily one tablet for 3 weeks. This is available over the counter and may give relief if the pain is due to gastric reasons.
