Question: I am 19 I have unprotected sex with my husband and take 4 or 5 I pill in a week is that safe for my future pregnancy or will it effects my fertility ?

Facts about I-pills-
- Usually it is a safe drug when used once in a while.( but regular use is harmful)
- It can be used after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy.( with in 72 hrs.)
- You should not used it as a regular method of contraception.
- In your case you have to choose regular method of contraception like oral contraceptive pills, IUD, condom, depot injection etc.
- Excessive use of I-Pill can affect your future pregnancy and fertility(because it contain hormone in high doses and it prevent pregnancy by suppressing ovulation and fertilisation).
- it can change your menstrual cycle and further your fertility.
