Brief Answer:
you can consult GP for refilling of current medicines

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

I can understand your concern.

4 mg klonopin daily is significant dose and sudden stopping of that dose really can cause withdrawal and make anyone uncomfortable.

You can consult any general physician with your past medical records and prescriptions. He/she can surely help you by refilling the medicines with fresh prescription until you can consult your specialist in mental health in end of May.

I am sorry that we can not prescribe medicines online and can not provide prescriptions according to laws as medicines you are taking are prescription drugs.

Tell me your exact location so I can guide you and help more at my best in finding specialist who may give you early appointment.

Hope I have answered your query, I will be happy to help further.

Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.

I live in XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and my Family Dr is Dr XXXXXXX Moak, He will not refill my prescription as he is the one who referred me to a mental health Dr, And he doesn't like to issue those medications, I have the best insurance and could go anywhere just do not know where? Should I go to a urgent walk in clinic and take my prescription bottles? My pharmacy has all my meds on file...

Brief Answer:
yes Emergency department can help but use it as last resort

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I can understand your concern. You are thinking that your family Dr. Moak will not help you. I suggest you should at least try once to consult and request him that you are stable on current medicines and due to changing of specialist you are running short of medicines. He may help you by renewing prescription until you meet specialist.

By chance if he is not ready to prescribe, click(or copy and paste) below link and search nearest few specialist to you and find his/her details and try to get early appointment.

You may need to sing up in the website for getting details of the doctor.

Another link is

In this site yo have to refine search near to XXXXXXX

Even with this approach by chance you can not get early appointment, you may contact emergency department and can take your medicines to prevent withdrawals.

Hope this answer is helpful. Feel free to ask if you have any query.
