Is It Safe To Continue Breast Feeding While On Zopi-OZ And Lycored?

Question: My son is 11 weeks old & is on exclusive breast feed. Recently my wife got 3 boils on her left leg and they became severe. Doctor prescribed medicines Zopioz & zacur-250, & syrup Lycored. please let me know whether it is OK for my wife to breast feed my son while she is under this medication? Thanks for your help.

There is no problem in continuing to breast feed while on Zopi-Oz and Lycored. I am not aware of the contents of Zacur 250. If you could mention the ingredients of that medicine and I will let you know about that.

Thanks for your prompt response. Zacur 250 contains Cefuroxime 250 mg.
