Brief Answer:
D & C will be confirmatory

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Endometrial thickness of 15 mm at 60 years of age can be due to endometrial cancer or hyperplasia.
Sometimes, biopsy do not give conclusive result as only small part of endometrium is studies and as such these pathologies can be missed.
In this situation, D & C should be done to obtain adequate amount of tissue and make the accurate diagnosis.
You should get it done and further management will be done accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
