Brief Answer:
You may deworm the child

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Routine deforming can be done at an interval of 6 months if there is high risk.
High risk means children with lower socioeconomic group, anemia, past history of worm infestation, poor hygiene. These children are more prone to worms.
I don't recommend deworming agent routinely if child is not in high risk.
As zental has no significant side effect it can be given safely if you need so.

Regards

You may given Zental(Albendazole) to deworm

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Worm infestation is one of the many causes of poor appetite.
You may give Albendazole comes under brand of Zental/Noworm/Bandy for deworming. Each 5 ml of syrup contains 200 mg of Albendazole and each bottle contains 10 mg.
The dose is 5 ml(200 mg) below age of 2 years and 10 ml (400mg) once at bed time for child equal to or more than 2 years.
Also get hemoglobin level and iron profile done as anemia and iron deficiency also is a cause of poor appetite.
