Brief Answer:
Usually bites in day.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query at the HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

Yes dengue virus is spread by mosquitoes of genus Aedes, primary vector of the dengue virus is the species Aedes aegypti. Other are Aedes albopictus, Aedes polynesiensis, and Aedes scutellaris which are less responsible. The vector of dengue primarily attacks in day but it can bite in night also. Even a single mosquito carrying virus can cause infection but with several bites antigen exposure is more. Yes usually red bumps are produced but sometimes it may be unnoticed and inflammatory reaction depends upon host immunity.

Take care

Brief Answer:
Low potency. Weak immune response.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I would like to tell you that it will not cause ill effects or completely ineffective. The only thing is that it's potency would be low which may cause weak immune response which will not be 100% protective.

Brief Answer:
Hand washing best practice to keep infections away.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

As you said that he comes in contact with outside dogs is more threat for your dog than you or your family. Even if your dog is vaccinated still then you must keep him away from stray dogs as they can spread several illness to dogs most of which are not transmissible to humans. Keep dog clean, vaccinated, advise from veterinary doctor and away from dogs. As far as family members avoid too much oral intimacy and proper handwashing to be practiced by everyone in house.

Take care.
