Is Alcohol Consumption Safe While On Treatment For Rabies?
Question: On 22nd Sep, I placed a plate with 2 bread in balcony, after some time I found one bread was outside of plate. I assumed that it done by some cat or dog. I washed the plate with soap solution. I was having two cuts on my hand. I went to doctor after two days to ask probable exposure of rabies virus. He told me that not need to take any vaccination because animal did not bite nor lick you and also no history is there but I was in panic so he suggested me to go for vaccination.
But during vaccination, two unfortunate things occurred with me
1. First two vaccine 0 and 3 days dose I have taken in buttocks
2. I consume 2 beers daily for 5 days after 3rd injection of Rabipur and before 4th Dose of rabipur
I visited doctors many times, but they told me no need to worry.
After that I have taken remaining 3 injection (7, 14 & 28 days) on arm, I have completed full course of 5 injection on 22nd Oct.
Can above incident reduce the vaccine effectiveness?
I am in dilemma, what should to do
Should I have go for extra dose, if yes then how much and when
Can I kiss to my wife and children?
Can I make relation with my wife?

I have taken initial 2 vaccine in buttock
It may create any problem
