I meant to fly tomorrow on a 3-hour flight, then on a few one-hour domestic flight in the coming 7 days.
Am I fit enough for this trip, air travel? If not, how long should I wait until I'm fit enough?
Looking forward to your advice. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Take pain killers and go for flights

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Headache as described may be due to migraine and requires pain killers like Naproxen or paracetamol as needed.
Continous headache or multiple episodes in a month require continous prophylaxis medication like Flunarizine, propranolol, Topiramate, Valproate or amitryptiline.
You can continue aspirin and plavis.
I think you mean by VAD is vascular dementia if anything else please specify.
Upload any reports available.
You can go for flights.
Take precautions like timely food, proper sleep, avoiding chocolates and excessive coffee.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

By VAD, I'm referring to Vertebral Artery Dissection, and it's associated with an embolic stroke. When I was admitted to the hospital, I was vomiting and have acute vertigo.

Hope this clarifies.

Also, under normal circumstances, how long does it take to completely heal for Vertebral Artery Dissection?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks

Hello,
Vertebral artery dissection associated embolic stroke will require continous aspirin medication.
