Brief Answer:
Visit an orthopedician; send Xrays if possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
First of all, it has been quite a long time since your problem occurred and many factors have to be kept in mind before going for a definitive treatment in your case.
I need to see an xray of the time of injury as well as a recent Xray. Also, a clinical examination of the affected knee should be done. Hence, I would advise you to visit an orthopedic surgeon at your earliest.
Also I should ask that what are the problems you are having because of this sublaxation you mentioned. Is it only the gait or there is pain and restriction of movements?
Yes, a closed reduction can be done but I cannot be completely sure unless I go through your case with all the xrays(preferably MRIs too) and reports since the time of injury. Also, a clinical examination is mandatory which I cannot do through online consultation.

However, get back to me with reports so that I can help you further. Also, consult an orthopedician and get checked.

Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards
