Question: My BP after walking 10 minutes and climbing a staircase was 142/82 and after 3 minutes it was 127/79 . Is it normal ?
When I climbed a hill having 105 steps with 75 meters height in 6 to 7 minutes. heart rate increases. After 4 to 5 minutes rest at top it becomes normal . Other than sweating it was comfortable climbing. Does it mean that the cardio system is normal.

Brief Answer:
yes. these are normal responses.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
1. It is normal response of our body to have increase in heart rate and blood pressure with exercise. If the heart rate and blood pressure do not increase with exercise, it should be considered abnormal.
2. The rise of blood pressure from 127/79 to 142/82 with exertion is normal. Similarly increase in heart rate during exertion and returning to baseline with rest is also normal.
Hope it helps.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder

BP readings are normal. review with psychiatirst.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
1. These BP readings are satisfactory. Moreover, it is common to have some increase in BP at clinic and hospital. If all The readings at home are well within normal range, it is reassuring.
