Is Primolut Effective In Postponing Menstruation?

Question: Hi my period time is 18th.my marriage also on the same day.I want to get my periods before 1 week.is primolut is useful to get my periods early

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.
I can understand your concern.
You can use Primolut-N for prepone and postponement of your periods.
In my opinion postponement is better option in your case.
You should start taking the tablets 2-3 days before your expected period date and continue till the date you want to postpone your menses( maximum upto 2weeks.
You will resume your period with in 2-3 days after stopping the medication.
It is a prescription drug so you should consult your Gynecologist for the same.

Hi my period date is on 18th of this month.my marriage date also on 18 the of this month.I consult doctor.she suggested me premilut n tablet to get periods early.if start taking that tablet from today when will I expect my perodes.will I expect on 12th.because she gave me 8 tablets in 4 days.so I will stop at 9 the.so will I get my periods on 12 the atlest.if it not come at 12 th what should I do.plz give me exact solution for my question.if not come shell I take postpone tablets from 15 the.is there any side effects.plz let me know soon.I am waiting for ur answer.in my mother illa 's home everyone is scolding because of my periods

Start taking tablets from today.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, I can understand your concern.

If you want to prepone your period, start from today but dose should be 5 mg thrice daily for three days( consult with your doctor).

Most probably you will get your period by 12th and you will be free by 18 th.

But sometimes period will not resume and you will not able to predict your period date than you can only restart the tablets and continue till the date you want to delay your menses but in this situation you will get your period early also.

It is usually a safe drug usually minor side effects like nausea and vomiting occur.

If you want to postpone your period, you can take the tablets from 15 th till the date you want to delay your menses.

Thanks for ur suggision. Doctor suggested 8 tablets.means 2 tablets per day.total 4 days.so I will stop it on 9 the.is it fine to get my periods on 12 th.

You should postpone your period.

Hi,

In my opinion I have suggested you to postpone your menses because of this problem.
If you will not resume your menses on 12 th everything get messed up, so better go with postpone regime and start tablets on 15 th.
Is there any problem in postponement of your period?
Please do not take any stress and dosage should be 5mg thrice daily not twice daily.
