Brief Answer:
HIV 1 is unlikely but please get test for HIV 2 done later

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. Your PCR test for HIV 1 is nearly conclusive and you are most likely safe.

2. Please note that HIV is found as HIV 1 and HIV 2 strains. HIV 1 causes 98 percent of infections and HIV 2 is responsible for 2 percent.

3. Keeping the above in mind I suggest you get HIV rapid fourth generation test done at 3 months and 6 months. This will test for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies and p24 antigen. If you were in USA then the HIV 2 test was not required.

However it is true that you do not have HIV 1 infection. HIV 2 infection is rare but better to get tested for peace of mind. Please note that HIV 2 test is valid only at 3 and 6 months. HIV rapid fourth generation test will test for HIV 1 and 2 infection.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have nay doubts.
