Brief Answer:
Not necessary..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing..
I understand your concern..

Have you taken meprate to get periods or to prolong the cycle? If you are not on the fertile period, I think you need not to take i pill. Fertile period is 8-18th day in a 28 day cycle..

There is no harm in taking i pill if you are very much anxious. The side effect associated with it is menstrual irregularity which include inter menstrual spotting and delayed periods. This will last only for a month or two.

Hope I have answered your query. feel free to ask any doubts.. Good day..

Hi,
Thanks for writing..

Since it is for getting periods and your periods are irregular, the exact date of ovulation is not known. So you can take i pil to be on safer side within 72 hrs..

Hope doctor has done a pregnancy test prior to giving meprate. If not get a pregnancy test now.

Hope I have answered your query.. Good day
