Is MDMA Safe To Take Before Elbow Surgery?

Question: I used a moderate dose of mdma 150mg at 10 pm Friday. Scheduled for minor elbow surgery Monday 8am with general anesthesia. Will this be safe or should I reschedule?

Brief Answer: You can discus it with your anesthesiologist. Detailed Answer: Hi, I have gone through your query. You must know that pure MDMA is metabolized within 50 hours. If you only took one pill, assuming you are of average size and normal organ function, this means that by 76 hours, there would be literally no MDMA present in your system. You can also discus all this with your anesthesiologist, simply mention this fact to him or her, and they will act accordingly, because without knowing what specific anesthetic drugs will be used by your anesthetist in your surgery, it is impossible to comment whether or not there could be contraindications from prior consumption of MDMA.
