I Suspected That I Have Umbilical Hernia What Are The Cause And Remedy
Question: Hello doctor..
Since 4 days. I started feel a pain in the area of my belly ( umbilical region) somewhere above the bellybutton. The pain sometimes Sharp and sometimes mild. It becomes worse when I move, walk and when I am in sitting position and try to stand up. When I press the area above my belly It hurts. When I put my hand on my belly button and cough, I feel something coming out.
My bowel is normal
Urination is normal
No vomiting or other symptoms
I can live with the thing as it it now as the pain is not unbearable but it is bothering me.
I suspected that I have umbilical hernia and also photos of area attached.
What's your diagnosis doctor? And do you think I need operation now ?

There is a slight fullness around umbilicus, and umbilical hernia will be the possibility.
You have to get an ultrasound scan for confirmation.

I am outside country for couple of weeks and will do the ultrasound once I will be back. Is there any other possible diagnosis with the symptoms that I mentioned?
If the major possible one is umbilical hernia, can I wear belt for now ? I am attaching belt photos to check if it's the right one.
