Question: I have just had blood work done because in April I had a sinus infection and I struggle with mild allergies. My white count was around 15,000 and now it is 12,400. I am attaching my recent lab results. My differentials in the last year have been running close to these. I have not seen the atypical lymphs listed before. I feel fine but have been under a lot of stress in the last couple years. My husband has been very ill. I retired from my job in April, 2018, in hopes to help give me more rest. My doctor said let's wait one month and take labs again or I can choose to go to a hematologist. I would like your opinion on waiting another month.

I am confused because my doctor said that my counts are still elevated at 12.4 and they should be 10.8 or below. In April they were 15. My neutrophil count states it is abnormal low and the lymph states it is abnormal High. Please help me understand your answer that my WBC and neutrophils are normal? Thank you.

Thank you. One more question. I have had some strange diff %'s in the last year or so. On 01/12/18 - WBC = 9.0, Neut 24.9%, Lymph 57.9%, Mono 14.7%, Eso 1.9%, Baso 0.4%. On 04-11-18, WBC 15, Neut 40.5, Lymph 49.9, Mono 7.3, eso 1,6 and Baso 0.4. And then 111518 which you have a copy of those results. I am not really worried, just wanting to make sure I am doing what is best at this time. I have no problem waiting a month and getting more test results. My diff's were normal before this time and so I am baffled. I know the WBC going down is a good sign. Would you be concerned about the diff if the WBC comes down and it stays a little whacky? I am 60 and my hubby has been fighting stage IIIa Lung cancer so I have been under extreme stress in the last 2.0 years. I do take pretty good care of myself and I do CrossFit. I have gained a little weight but that is due to eating too much :). My diet has suffered some but I try to eat whole foods often. I do feel pretty good and I have been told that an oncologist would most likely do a wait and see and do more labs at a later date. My doctor is not advising antibiotic right now. She did treat me in April with an antibiotic because I had a sinus infection and I did have symptoms. Sorry this is so long winded. Please advise.
