Brief Answer:
REMEDY-UTI AND RENAL DYSFUNCTION

Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query/reports and here is my opinion.

Function of our kidneys is to filter blood and remove the waste metabolites out in urine.
A kidney dysfunction might cause an accumulation of these waste metabolites and urea and creatinine levels rise (as in your case)
Kidney dysfunction can be due to uncontrolled hypertension, uncontrolled sugar levels, recurrent UTI or drugs.

Please share if you have hypertension (Your Urine has proteins so there is high probability of you being hypertensive) or Diabetes (your sugar levels are normal but urine has sugar which is normally not there) ?

You can take some dietary and life style modification measures to avoid recurrent UTI and to prevent further damage to your kidneys.....

Keep yourself well hydrated.
Avoid green leafy vegetables and citrous fruits (this will keep your Potassium levels under control).
Keep good perineal hygiene.
Try to avoid public toilets.
Have safe sex.
Pass urine when your bladder is full.
It is important not to hold urine for too long. This can cause bacteria buildup, resulting in infection
Have cranberry juice.
Take commercially available probiotics.
Treat UTI promptly.
Keep sugar and pressure under control.
Maintain ideal body weight.
Take salt restricted (or salt free) diet.
Avoid junk food, carbonated drinks, caffeine and alcohol.
Do not take analgesics or medications which damage kidneys.

Hope that I have answered your query.

Stay healthy and stay blessed.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
REMEDY-UTI AND RENAL DYSFUNCTION

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Amlodipine (Stamlo) is a good and safe drug to control blood pressure in kidney patients
What drugs are you taking to control sugar?Such patients are usually maintained on Insulin.
Have your HbA1C procured in recent past?

For excess urination in night,I would advise you to limit your water and fluid intake after evening.
Take an early dinner and avoid tea, coffee.
Avoid bladder irritants like acidic and spicy foods.
Empty your bladder just before going to bed.
Sleep with your legs elevated by 30 degrees.
Learn pelvic floor exercises.
Treat your urine infections well.

If the problem continues, see your clinician.
He would include some medications like drugs from anti cholinergic group to treat the symptoms of an overactive bladder.
Sometimes,a drug called Desmopressin is also used which causes kidneys to produce less urine at night time.

Regards.
