Question: I am a 21 year old male . I have varicocele on left testicle, low semen volume and low ejaculation distance. I also experience a numbness on the left part of my head usually for about 12 hours after ejaculation, and stiff neck. Are these cause for serious concern? Potential fertility problems? What might be causing this and what should I do about it?

Thanks for query .

Based on the facts that you have posted all the varied symptoms that you have are not related to left sided Varicocele and psychogenic in nature due to anxiety .

As regards your query about potential problem bout fertility Varicocele per say may not be a cause for infertility unless it is of very high grade can be commented only on viewing Semen Analysis report .

Using scrotal support will help to get relief from dull aching pain associated with Varicocele .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination in person and get following basic tests done
1)Color Doppler Scan of Scrotum to assess the grade of Varicocele
2) Semen Analysis

Further treatment will be decided by him based on clinical findings and results of these tests .
