Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

If you believe you are experiencing side effects of Lipitor then I would recommend that you stop the medication altogether and discuss this with your primary care physician.

There are a number of side effects that can occur with Lipitor and medications in that particular class of cholesterol lowering medications.these side effects range from fatigue to muscle aches among others.

I would recommend that you talk to your doctor before taking any additional doses of this medication. Your doctor might recommend an alternative to see if you might tolerate that better.

Thanks again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
