Question: How long does gabapentin take to get into your system and for you to feel the full effects. I take 3 x 300mg. Been on the tablets for 2 weeks. I take them for anxiety and panic attacks.

Brief Answer:
Two to four weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

In the treatment of panic attacks gabapentin can take two to four weeks to have full effect so at this moment waiting for some more time is warranted if you have some (partial) response.

Having said this I like to inform you that if you are not getting any response in these two weeks than it is time to increase the dose of it or change medication.

I hope I am able to address your concerns.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards
Dr Ashok Kumar
