How Long Should Folvite Be Taken During Pregnancy?
Question: Hi Doctor, My wife's LMP was 5th Sept 2016, so how many months conceive we can calculate. Also shall she continue taking Folvite any folic acid tablets.Pls advice.
One more query she's having diabetes since 3 yrs as her parents also have diabetes, and she's having sugarfree gold 2-4 pellets everyday while having tea or milk, is sugar free safe?

Yes she can continue folvite for another month and then start iron Calcium after that.
She is presently 2 months pregnant and thus 7 more months to go.
Diabetes in Pregnancy usually needs insulin and is not controlled by medication alone.
So do fasting sugars and post meal sugars for all the three meals.
Do it for 1 week and visit your gynaecologist for start of insulin if needed.
