Brief Answer: Now you can go back to your work Detailed Answer: Hello, Welcome to Healthcare Magic, As 20 days has elapsed following the onset of rash of chickenpox, by this time you have become noninfectious and you will not transmit disease to others. So you can go back to your work. The scabbing usually begins 4-7 days after the rash and completed by 30 days. During the scabbing period you are sterile and will not transmit disease to others. It is highly communicable 1-2 days before the appearance of rash and 4-5 days thereafter. After which virus tends to die out and looses the capacity to transmit disease to normal individuals. As i have explained above, you will not transmit chickenpox to your colleagues as you have become non infectious know. Hope you are satisfied with this answer, if you have any further query i will be happy to answer them. Thank you.
