Hello, augmentin is cleared from your body by 5 - 6 hours maximum and is elimination half life is just one and half hours , and yes you may take alcohol with the medication as it will not decrease the effect of the drug nor are there any significant drug interactions of augmentin and alcohol.
However let it be in moderation because of two reasons.
1)augmentin and alcohol with cause gastritis and not good for your stomach.
2)augmentin must be given for some infection, and avoiding drinking gives the best possible senerio fir your body to fight that infection.
