Brief Answer:
Ultrasound after periods

Detailed Answer:
Hello madam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I understand your anxiety and confusion related to the issue.
Basically it seems like you had incomplete abortion at that time that's why you kept on bleeding during the whole course if loette.
Now after stopping the pills you will have periods in full normal flow in 3-4 days and after that when the periods will stop (most likely in 3-5 days) you should have a repeat ultrasound to see if the remains of conception have got cleared up with periods.
It is common for minor remains to get cleared up after periods and thus then you will not bleed erratically any further.
It is common to have these events after medical abortion so don't worry and just go with the flow of events for the time being.
As far as curettage is concerned then the probability of curettage will depend on the findings of ultrasound after these periods.
I hope I have answered your query but in case you have any questions about it, I will be glad to answer.
Regards
Dr Manisha
