How Is HIV Transmitted?

Question: Hello there, I am concerned about a body slide that i received at a massage parlour. There was no sex (oral, vaginal or anal) involved but both of us are naked and she slide her body over my unprotected penis and anus and her vagina (I felt her pubic hair) would have been in contact with my un protected penis and anus. I was consciously trying to push her away from my penis but she would have rubbed against it anyways few times. I am sure that my penis tip didn't enter inside her and session ended with me ejaculating on her hand. I didnt really look if she has any cuts on her hand and most probably not.Is there any HIV risk there? If i wanted to get it tested how long should I wait before testing? This happened 30 hours back and was wondering if I need to consider PEP therapy at all? I am terrified and please help me

Brief Answer:
HIV test can be done now without waiting.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Whether you have contracted HIV infection depends on two factors- first whether the girl was infected with HIV. If yes, then whether there are contact with the vaginal fluids.
As you have mentioned that you are not sure whether there was any contact or not, it is advisable to under the test for HIV infection assuming that the girl was infected.

You need to get HIV ELISA test at nearest ICTC centre. There is no need to wait for the tests.
If the test comes out to be negative the test needs to be repeated after 3 months.
If the test is negative after 3 months, the infection is ruled out.
However, if positive, you need to get a confirmatory test i.e. western blot to confirm the infection.

These tests are done free of cost at the ICTC centres.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Thanks for your reply. I am sure that I didnt really get in contact with her vaginal fluids. I would have just rubbed against her vaginal area but didnt feel any fluid touching...are elisa tests better than the rapid hiv tests? I know you can get results from rapid tests in 30 mins and How soon would i expect results from ELISA? Also i have been looking some posts online and they suggest tests to be taken after 2 weeks atleast.. Is it worth waiting or doesnt matter? Please advice
