Any kind of major illness during 9th month of pregnancy like typhoid fever could have a bad or negative effect on the health of the developing baby. It is best that you get yourself treated at the earliest in order to avoid complications like still births, premature birth, premature rupture of membranes, low birth weight, etc.
Typhoid fever leads to a loss of appetite and other problems of the digestive tract. The expectant mother could be deprived of necessary nutrients that are acquired through solid foods since the person suffering from typhoid fever needs to be on a semisolid diet and must avoid eating solid foods.
Typhoid fever can be successfully treated with proper antibiotics and your pregnancy will most likely go on normally with timely treatment.
