How Does Liver Eliminate Toxins?

default
Posted on Sat, 18 Oct 2014
Question: My real concern is not DDT toxification.
I Just want to understand why it is not impossible for some toxin which could not be detoxified by liver or enzyme to attack targeted cells or organs again and again until people die.
I learn that toxin which could not be detoxified is moving to fat or bone and after time flows they released and move to the blood flow and attack the cells or organs again.
That means once toxicant which is not toxified gets into the body, it is going to kill the person after time flows....
But when I find out the books.. there are only two symptoms. one is acute symptoms and the other is chronicle symptoms... And doctors says that if there is no symptom, it is OK...why there is no window periods symptoms. Only one shot could make person die...
Really want to know the reason why it is not impossible. Pls. explain that with scienticfic explanation. Thx

Brief Answer:
Maximum effect occurs on day 1.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.

The maximum damage by a toxin occurs on day one of exposure, preferably within a few hours of toxin exposure.

Even if a small amount of toxin is not metabolised, its amount would not increase over time. Therefore, the damage caused by it would not increase over time.

Howev, if there is continued exposure to the same toxin over a long period of time, then, the amount of damage would increase, and it may lead to cell damage and even death in some cases.

Thanks for your answer.
I heard that if toxicant is not detoxified, it could move to the blood vessel and move to the organ or fat or bone and stay in for a while.
And after that, toxicants release and attacks the cells or organs again. (of course, the total number is same.)
What I cannot understand is If undetoxified Toxicant could attack the cells or receptors or organs repeatly, how could not people die after eating or breathing toxicants which is not detoxified. (many kinds of toxicants could attack several times other cells or receptors)
In my point of view, there are alot of Toxicanst which could not be detoxifed...
That Toxicants could attack again and again until people die?
Or because, there are alot of neuron cells...So small number of toxicants could not attack the all neuron cells?
P.S If 2 or 3pcs toxicants alive and attack neuron cells every day (little by little)... People could know the symptom?
As far as I know, there is no such case of sudden death because of the toxicants which is not detoxified and stay in...
Pls. tell me the reason. Thx.

Brief Answer:
Yes, you are partly right.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.

As you pointed out, a small amount of toxic substance would not be able to cause significant tissue damage or death.

The small amount of toxic substance would cause very minor damage to cells or neurons, which would not have any significant effect. Even if it causes repeated attack, the damage would be the same small damage to cells or neurons. so, no death would occur.
