Brief Answer:
Due to anaplasmosis

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms , normal potassium level is up to 5. this means you are having a mild hyperkalemia. hyperkalemia occur due to any condition that causes cell damage or kidney impairment,. since anaplasmosis cause muscle damage and kidney impairment, it must be the cause for elevated potassium levels. you need to check on you kidney function by blood test for urea and creatinin and a urine analysis.
