Is Alpha-Lipoic Acid Effective At Treating Leg Pain While Having High BP?

Question: Right side leg pains is bad in the morning. Should I use Alpha Lipoic Acid ? I have high blood pressure and high chlestrol and I am taking the medications. I have neck pains, so my Dr. recommended it. Can you suggest me the right supplement to take for the cure of the leg pains. Both legs are burning feeling at the night. My Doctor sent me many Doctors and tests, no good result so far. I hope you can give the suggestions to cure my leg pains. I am going to see the Doctor to get the Trygerpoint shots for my neck. Dear Dr. XXXXXXX

Here are my answers.

1. Involved on both legs, but the right leg is much worth than the left one. In the morning, the right leg heart and not easy to walk. I have to use the pain cream to ease the burning pains on the both legs at night time.
2. No back ache.
3. Yes. But they are not too bad.
4. My Doctor warned me not to eat unhealthy foods to avoid, I will not to get a diabetes.
5. Yes, it is difficult to walk out of the bed. Usually the ache desappear after putting the pain cream (old two goats cream).
6. 60% I do exercise almost 3 times a week
7. I never smoked.
8. I went to see the Neurologist Doctor. I am going to see the Doctor again.
