Brief Answer:
Enteritis caused by Rotavirus most likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.
Have gone through your details and i appreciate your concerns.

As per your query.
Stomach infection gastritis from a stomach virus rotavirus. The illness usually starts with vomiting but diarrhea usually follows within 12 to 24 hours this is from toxins produced by bacteria growing in poorly cooked food (eg, Staphylococcus toxin in egg salad, Bacillus cereus toxin in rice dishes).
As you are out of town most likely she has been infected with this virus or bacterium.Possibly loose stools will also be there after sometime however don't worry this is usually self limiting and takes 3-5 days.
For symptomatic relief in vomiting give her Tab zofran kid 2mg twice daily(OTC).
Hydration and electrolyte balance maintaining is very important.
Give her a lots of orange juice and coconut water.
Zofran would control her vomiting.
Give her very light easily digestible food(Preferrably juices).
However if stomach pain and loose stools starts in few hours few more drugs are to be added then.

Note: For further follow up on digestive issues share your reports here and Click here.
