How Can Erythema Multiforme On The Palm And Arms Be Treated?

Question: What is this on my palm? Some kind if eczema? I habe had small ones before but never this bad. Also a few on my arms.

I webt into the doctor. It is erythema multiforme. Its apperentlt a complication from oral herpes. Completely safe but ugly. Thanks for the help doc.

Yes, that’s a possible differential diagnosis. I’m happy you got to see a dermatologist and all being looked into. Erythema multiforme resulting from herpes infection is often managed by prescribing Acyclovir. If the breakouts happen often, you may need to be on continuous treatment to prevent further recurrences.
