Brief Answer:
Looks like infected sabaceous cyst.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photograph.

It looks like the infected sabaceous cyst. Not a serious condition.

As it is more red over affected area. It seems to be infected now. so you'll have to be prescribed an course of antibiotic. And after which it can be just removed by the doctor.

If i were your treating doctor the antibiotics for such cyst would be amoxclav625.
See if your doctor could prescribe you the same.

take care.

So I went to the doctor. They said it was not a cyst and it looked like a bad bug bite that got infected and cellulitis. They prescribed me Clindamycin 300mg every 6 hours. I started taking it Friday morning at 130am. They also poked it and said there is no infection internally. I have attached pictures as something just came out of it and now there is a hole. Can you tell me if this is normal?

Brief Answer:
Need not worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for the follow up,
I'm really sorry for delaying. I was out of station on an emergency.

I have reviewed the attached pictures. Yes it is normal. Do not worry about the discharge. That is just an serous discharge. Get the wound dressed regularly and take clindamycin for the complete course.

Take care.
