Brief Answer:
Need more details

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.
I would like have some more details from about your health issue.
1. Are you taking any medications for anxiety/depression? or for any other medical illness?
2. Any dose changes before the onset of symptoms?
3. Any stressor which you can correlate to onset of your symptoms?
4. Have you undergone any investigations for your symptoms recently?

In absence of any other medical conditions, these symptoms could well be a part of anxiety-depression spectrum.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards

At the time symptoms started I had just stopped taking Trintellix. The stoned head feeling came on over the one day and has continued. Tried vaproic acid
With no positive results. Now I am taking Wellbutrin.Iam also taking zoplicone for sleep and Allopurinol for gout.No stress factors that I am aware of.I have had an MRI of my brain and it came back fine. Also checked my thyroid, and it's ok.No high blood pressure.I did have cataract surgery a week before it started.I will explain this a bit more.I have had anxiety and some depression for years and never had this problem before. It came on fairly quickly.Out of nowhere. It feels like a headlight on full beam in the front of my head.It feels like this is the only thing my brain is focused on.Really can't focus on anything else.Very hard to comprehend things and feel like I'm losing it.Have a hard time even figuring out simple things at times.Iam just not getting stuff. My brain feels like I smoked a joint and I am high.Doesnt go away.At times I won't drive because my brain feels that impaired. My brain feels like it's always on.Thanks

Brief Answer:
Dose modification of drugs can be considered

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
Sorry for late reply.
Since your MRI brain is normal, the likelihood of any brain lesion is ruled out.
The withdrawal from trintellix do not last this long.
In my opinion, the impaired concentration and focus could be an indicator of increasing severity of anxiety-depression. There can a clutter of thoughts which gives a feeling of brain getting jammed. How much dose of wellbutrin are you taking?
Are you getting proper sleep despite taking zopiclone?
The dose modification of these two drugs (under your treating doctor's supervision) can be helpful.

I hope you have got your blood sugar levels checked.

You can also try deep breathing exercises and yoga.

Feel free to contact for further queries.

Regards.

Hi, even with the zoplicone my sleep is lousy, it has been for yrs. I don't get much REM sleep and just skim the surface of deep sleep. The Wellbutrin, I am taking 300mg.I Have only been on it for about a month.Yes I have had my blood sugar checked and it good along with the rest of my blood panel.
If it is from increased anxiety depression, how could it just come on in one day.I was fine in the morning and as the day progressed I could start and feel it coming and then it was just on. I also forgot to mention my hands and arms and quite often my feet fall asleep or feel all tingly. My hands daily, also I get a bit of tingling in my face sometimes.Arond my one eye and part of my cheek. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Low dose anxiolytic should help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

It could be an independent symptom of anxiety.

And the symptoms can have an acute onset.

Considering that your blood investigations and MRI brain are normal, I would suggest using a mild anxiolytic like etizolam (prescription drug) for short term and observe the symptoms.

This tingling sensation should also improve with anxiolytic. Please get your vitamin B12 and Vitamin D levels checked, if not done yet.

Do practice deep breathing and relaxation exercises.

Wish you speedy recovery.
Regards.
