Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...

Yes, the eosinophil counts are one of the markers of allergic as well as immunogenic manifestations...

You should continue taking the Montek-lc as already prescribed by your doctor...

COVID (pre and post) behaves quite the opposite way though, as mostly the eosinophil counts tend to drop, however, there are exceptions as well...

After five weeks, do a recheck but not only the Eosinophil count but a comprehensive metabolic profile (Complete hemogram, Peripheral blood smear, Absolute Eosinophil count, ESR, CRP, LFT, KFT, Chest X-ray)...If there's no resolution despite current treatment, a thorough clinical check-up by an Allergist and Immunologist (specialist) is recommended...

Brief Answer:
A thorough health check-up is needed at first...

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,

No, it's nothing major, don't worry...

Just follow the earlier advice and recheck after completion of the medicines, along with those other investigations as already advised...

Try to remain well hydrated by drinking a lot of water, practice daily meditation for around half an hour, avoid dusty places, wear face mask all the time, esp. while going out...maintain social distancing, avoid any body-contacts with others...Avoid all unnecessary travel... Maintain strict hand hygiene by washing the hands with soap and water before and after touching any objects...

Taking of Montek lc for five weeks will not have any serious side effects right ?

I was also taking gastric tablet famocid 40mg along with Montek lc.

As initially i went to doctor due to gastric sir. Doctor did endoscopy and blood test... endoscopy results everything is normal and he told nothing to worry.

In blood test he found that eosinophils count is 11 and suggested to take monkel lc tablet

Only This two tablets doctor suggested to take sir

Brief Answer:
Follow-up consultation...

Detailed Answer:
Yes, there's nothing to worry about...

No need to worry about side effects as well...
Just follow as already explained earlier...

However, instead of Famocid, it'll be better to take RANITIDINE (150mg), you should discuss this with your doctor as well...
