he might wake up multiple times at night for uneasiness, so what can be done now.

Brief Answer:
Unlikely from bathing

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thank you for posting to us
I understand your concern

It is quite common for children to get frequent flu in this season- this is usually transmitted form household contacts(someone caring child may be having similar symptoms). It is not related to bathing- just co-incidental only

Most of these are viral, and need supportive measures only- Just give Calpol 4 times daily for 2-3 days, along with an anti-histamine(Sy Levocetirizine 3.5ml at night) and a nasal decongestant. Take him to doctor only if fever is not subsiding after 4-5 days, or if he develops breathing difficulty.

Keeping children away from persons with cold will help to reduce frequency.
Yearly Flu shot is also good- will reduce progression of flu to pneumonia.

I hope this answer will help
Take care.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
It is possible to have some nasal congestion/stuffiness after bath, but presence of fever indicates an infection in the body- this is not possible after bath at home(can happen after outdoor bathing). Infection, as I said, usually is spread from someone else with fever/cold- not necessarily form home, but can also be from their peers while playing, baby sitters, play schools or anybody coming in contact with them. The contact may be having just cold symptoms/cough, without fever

Also, it is better to give regular daily bathing rather than giving once in a while- so that body will get adapted.
I hope this is clear.
