Sorry to hear about your problems, but unfortunately you didn't mention enough about your problems like what main complaint do you have so it's difficult to say what may be your probelm and how can we help.
The drug mentioned include flexeril , which is a good mucle relaxant that is it relaxes our muscles and hence help in pains associated with our joints and muscles .
vestaril is used for allergies and itching .
so it's difficult to exactly say about your problem.

Hi , thanks for providing the good details .I am really sorry to hear of your problem , I can understand how distressing this may be .but Lets not loose hope and try to fight them back the best way .
Infact many drugs can causes tardive dyskinesia, and these may be quite disabling.The list is extensive, but The most common drugs causing it are the anti psychotic drugs.prolonged use of these drugs do commonly cause this problem .The newer drugs do cause it less then the previous drugs .So I wonder if you are taking any anti pschotic drug .Howe'ver do not stop these drugs abruptly , we recommend reducing the dose , or alternative drug if you are taking any but never with out consultation of your doctor .
There are other drugs they may also cause it , like anti emetic,and the anti depressent may also cause them .
The treatment is not easy .but possibly reducing the drug and some role for Vitamins E , or benzodizapines like clonazepam, other drug that may be used include tetrabenzarin. So let's hope if any of these can help your symtpoms .
We also need to see what is causing your insomnia, and to help that as well .benzodizapines may be benificail here.

Hi .
Great to hear of you back.
Yes sleep probelms are ommon and some times very difficult to treat .
We should first try sleep hygiene; i am sure you must be knowing it and observing it but let me repeat that is fixed sleep time and place , switching light off , no stimulants like caffine or Alcohal at night , avoid drugs that may cause insomnia like anti depressent.
There are number of drugs for this, if temazepam is working, that's probably the right drug and we can continue with this.We generally prescribe this first line .
Low dose of anti psychotic drugs like olanzapine and quetspine may also be very helpful but after consultation. Meditations and excercise also has role for certain people.
After saying this , we must be looking for the reason of insomnia, if any is there , and treating that like depression or any other medical comdition .Though some times there may be no causes .
I can understand the difficulty of situations and really appreciate your courage.Unfortunately I am not in any position to precribe anything for you.You can always consult and discuss things with your own doctors. I wish you best luck.
