For past 2 weeks I have dull pain in my penis shaft and burning sensation while and after urination. The pain is bearable and also felt while mastrubating too. I visited a doctor and he prescribed me Zanocin 400, flavocip 200 and citralka syrub for 3 days. Also asked me to go for FBS and PP sugar to check if I have diabetes.
My questions :
1) Is this a UTI or something severe.
2) Does prediabetics have urinary infection.
3) Have googled the symptoms and worried if it was STD or a prostate problem.
4) What blood tests needs to confirm the disease if any.

Blood tests are not that much helpful. However a serum PSA ( prostate specific antigen) can be done to look for infection or inflammation related to prostate. You have to do ultrasound pelvis along with abdomen scan.
The symptoms are not due to citralka or other drugs and you have to continue the drug for full course.
