Hello, For The Past Month I Have Been Feeling Very

Question: Hello, for the past month I have been feeling very off, it's a very lethargic feeling; like I can't focus or concentrate and I'm having trouble having conversations. More recently, I have had a tingling sensation in the tips of two of my fingers, and a headache that doesn't last very long, and only in random places. Like a short, mildly sharp pain.

I don't want to overthink it, but could I have a brain tumor? I am 22 years old, male and I weigh ~200lbs

Brief Answer:
No reason to think about tumors.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.

I have read your query in detail.

Your symptoms don't point towards any tumors.

There are a number of other conditions such as stress and anxiety disorder, low vitamin B12, anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc., that may cause such issues.

In my opinion, you should get evaluated by your primary care Doctor and by blood tests about the above-mentioned conditions.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you for the reply!

I have noticed that I have been very sleepy lately, almost unbearably tired and my headaches have been a little more noticeable lately. I drink a lot of caffeine also (about two energy drinks a day), so that could be a factor as well. Thank you for quelling my worries about the tumor, I am going to go to the doctor soon, but I tend to stress myself out big time over things.

One other quick question, about a month ago, I had a bump on the left side of my forehead that seemed to come out of nowhere, it didn't hurt and it felt like something underneath my skin. It lasted until about a couple days ago, and I have noticed a very similar bump now on my right side; but this one definitely hurts a bit when I press on it. What could those be?

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Not getting enough sleep and stressing yourself contributed to this tiredness.

Headaches may be worsened too by these factors.

The bumps that you referred may be lymph nodes reaction from an adjacent minor infection, or hair root infection.

So, I suggest you not to stress yourself about anything serious.

Hope I helped you.

Regards.
