Question: Hello Good Evening Doct.

Hope this mail finds you and your family well.

My mother has been suffering from some circular spots on her legs. They are circular, red, non-inflammed, sometimes a bit of itching, not elevated and are multiple in number.

Could you please help to diagnose?

Thank you so much.

Brief Answer:
Probably a ringworm infection, please send a photo

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be relates to a ringworm infection which is a fungal infection
Kindly send a photo for further evaluation.
Meanwhile, you can use an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg ,one tablet per day to relieve the itching and inflammation.
I also recommend to apply an over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream to the affected area if the rash is causing discomfort.
Cold compresses can also be helpful.

Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!

Brief Answer:
Petechie, follow the advice below

Detailed Answer:
Hi again dear,

I already reviewed the attached report.
The red spots seem to be related to petechie.
I recommend to do a complete blood count to check the platelets level.
In case that your mother is using a blood thinner, you should probably consult your physician to consider stopping it for a while.

Hope it helps dear.
Take care,
