if my body has recovered
my questions
is there any lasting damage?
Will this effect my fertility - sounds like it was prostatitis?

Brief Answer:
normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Greetings
We can't decide on prostatitis by blood test.
Do you have any burning sensation during ejaculation or pain in testis.?
Blood reports are normal.
You can get a semen analysis done to.know about fertility status.

i dont think you have answered my question
this blood test is around 3 years old.
It was prostatitis because i had all the symptoms that you have just said.
My questions are
with my blood test back to normal and having no symptoms? does the body get back to normal and if there was damage this would have been picked up on the blood test?

Brief Answer:
chronic prostatitis may not be evident in routine blood test

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have already explained you about chronic prostatitis. It is a clinical diagnosis by direct examination and symptoms.
CRP may be elevated in all infections.
Unless we do SEMEN analysis we cannot comment up on fertility.
It depends on the severity of infection.
CRP may be elevated in prostatitis, not a conclusive test.
If you don't have any symptoms and if the semen analysis is normal you can be pretty sure that no damage to prostate.
