Does Vaginal Spotting Start Right After Taking Duphaston?

Question: Hi, I've started spotting abt a week after my period ended in January. My doctor gave me antibiotics for pid and also tested for a uti, bacterial infection and fungal infection and did a pap smear. i had a uti and fungal infection. bacterial infection was clear and pap smear was clear except it said there was a severe inflammation of the cervix. The uti and fungal infection cleared. I dont know if there's any way of checking for pid but I completed the antibiotic dose. However I continued spotting between periods. My hormone levels- lh, fsh, and thyroid came out normal. tv ultrasound was also normal. the doctor said it might be a progesterone deficiency and put me on cyclogest 400 pressaries in May. I started spotting a week after my period again (day 15 of cycle...started cyclogest day 10) and she said they werent effective and to start taking primolut or duphaston immediately and they should act immediately but I'm still spotting. The doctor's saying it should have stopped the first day of the medicine. Now she's saying it's prob not progesterone but might be a polyp that went undetected by the ultrasound and to do for an mri. I am traveling for a mth day after tomorrow so dont have time for that. She said to continue with duphaston till my next period and then try taking yaz next cycle. I also consulted two other doctors at different points both of whom said its nothing since all the tests are clear and to either do nothing or get onto yaz to regulate it. My main questions are 1. Is it true that I should have started spotting the day I started taking duphaston or does it take a couple of cycles to regulate? 2. Is it possible that's it's nothing serious and will fix itself like the other two doctors are saying?Sorry....was trying to look up the name of the other antibiotic I was given and forgot and submitted. Can't remember the name or find it in my file.

Got my last period May 12th. Period is and has always been very regular. Started cyclogest May 20th. May 24th. Took last cyclogest pressary May 25th. Saw doctor on the 26th. Didnt take anything 26th. Started Duphaston 10mg twice a day 27th morning. The website mentions it can take 24 hrs to put together a report after consulting peers. Can I pls get a quick response on one question pls:

If its DUB caused my a progesterone deficiency should I have stopped spotting the day I started duphaston or does it sometimes take a few mths to regulate? Its 3.40 am and I cant sleep

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
In DUB after starting the progesterone supplements it takes a few days for the spotting to gradually stop. The bleeding does not stop immediately. It is best to regulate your cycles using a combined contraceptive pill like Yaz.
You have been advised correctly by the other two doctors. Since all your investigation reports are normal there is nothing to worry. This will fix itself in next few cycles.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
